About the game

HAPPY TO HELP is a sci-fi FMV game / interactive video, a reboot of the 2020 Unity game of the same name, and heavily inspired by titles such as Portal. While the setting and story are almost the exact same as the original, this interactive video is made from pre-rendered animations, it is not playable in 3D.

This game took me around six months on-and-off and I am SO incredibly proud of the result. It is the story that I wanted to tell three years ago with my Unity game (the demo of which you can still play!) but could never finish due to technical + motivation difficulties.

After stopping making games, I went on to experiment with making music and later creating another YouTube channel, Cleron, which I still have today and which an online YouTube version of Happy To Help is playable. (B-Boxo Gam-mes face reveal??!?!? )

Content Warnings

While I wouldn't describe Happy To Help as a horror game, it does have horror elements. There are a few jumpscares and threatening situations, as well as some bloody images. I would advise that only 13+ players should play this. Thanks!

Game Versions

There are three versions of Happy To Help (2023):

  • DVD Edition - the game was being made initially just for DVD, so it may be the most polished version, with a sacrifice on video quality.

(Download the DVD Cover here if you want a physical version!)

  • Powerpoint Edition - for everyone on PC. Basically the same experience as the DVD Edition but with full 1080p video quality!

  • YouTube Edition - the version that is the most easily accessible, not availiable for download here. (Play it here!)
