What do you think?

Cool particle effects, same with your jam game!

ummm, wave 3 the enemies appear right near survivors and kill the survivors instantly, after you kill enemies on wave 3 you don't progress to next level nor does game end ...nothing happens, Also you also can walk right off the screen and have no indicator showing where you are. Would be nice to see some additional effects to show you are in the water, controls were hard to get used to but I got better at it. Good effort though for a first game. You should revisit it and fix it up. Im sure you have learnt more since you uploaded this.

Is this your first game? Its pretty interesting how you're standing on water and stuff. But I think you need to come up with a better control scheme.Try using the mouse to aim your shots would be awesome.
The game is quite..challenging with the current controls.

Also, I think there's a slight chink in your programming, as the shark that ate a hostage counts as an eliminated shark, and isn't part of the wave even though he's physically present, in effect leading to premature "Wave Complete" messages.

That said, excellent choice of music! Very catchy indeed.

It's 1945, and the USS Indianapolis has been sunk by Japanese torpedos! The survivors are stuck in the water, praying for rescue, only to be greeted by packs of hungry sharks! You are one of these survivors, and you refuse to let your fellow navymen die by the teeth of these vicious fish! It is your imperative to call the single rescue plane with your trusty flare gun so that your fellows may be saved, and that you may also survive this encounter. Shoot those damned sharks and save the day!

Notes:

I made this game for a 2 week game jam. I honestly haven't touched it since then (it has been a while), so it is still a buggy mess. Don't trust the restart button. If you really do wish to restart, simply refresh the game.

I don't know if I will ever update this game, but I do have plans to make a redeux of it; preferably in Unity. I worked really hard on this one, but it's the first game I've ever "released" and it still needs a lot of work to be considered respectable. I hope you have fun playing it!

Feel free to comment on the game. Tear it apart, or praise it. Either way, I read every comment and take it all in so that I may learn from my own mistakes. Thanks for checking out my game!

P.S. I made a few videos while I was developing the game and uploaded them to YouTube. If you're interested, you can find the first video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zigy8t7Tsyo
