The world is falling. At an unknown period of time, Inferris was constructed: an underground foundation built over a kilometer beneath the planet's surface. People are fearing the end of the world, countries are fighting, tensions are rising, and major riots in countries are a common occurrence. The unfiltered rage being exposed, and the demand for resources and power pushed the world further to the edge.
Inferris was created to allow people to live without the persistent horrors of the world. Decades later, construction completed and a new society formed beneath the ground. It was only until scientists of the community were developing an unknown experiment, and it backfired, creating a toxic and airborne virus that pushed Inferris to it's fall.
In the events of the game, you find yourself in the halls of hell, and in the depths of hell, struggling to stay alive.
