my best distance was 1090 m
Good idea of combining endless runner with top down view

Last through the arena, and you may just find yourself safe on the outside. But be warned! Many is the brave fighter who has succumbed to these bloody halls! Do you have what it takes? Can YOU survive the Spike Arena's challenge? Hear, now! The crowd roars! They hunger for a show! You'd better give it to them. For only the greatest escape this death trap. We shall see if you number among them. We shall see if you can become.... A KEYRO!!!"
Keyro: Arena Lockdown is a scrolling endless running game where you, the player, must avoid walls of encroaching spikes. You must seek out keys scattered throughout the arena to open spiked doors and continue on. Speed and care are needed in this difficult game! How many meters can you go before the Spike Arena claims you?
10/25/17: Keyro: Arena Lockdown is now licensed as free software! Get the source code here: https://github.com/ErikLetson/keyro-arena-lockdown
CONTROLS:
Arrow keys move the player character in four cardinal directions. Collect keys to open doors! Additionally, you can mute the game at any time by pressing the 'm' key.
This game has been tested in every browser your humble developer could think of :) It works fine across all of them so far.
NOTE FOR INTERNET EXPLORER USERS:
This game uses .wav files for sound, and, as such, the game's music and sound effects will not work in Internet Explorer. This is due to IE not supporting .wav files for the HTML5 Audio object (indeed, it seems IE only supports .mp3 files for sound in HTML5). The game is otherwise unaffected and works well in Internet Explorer. The sound will work in all other browsers Keyro has been tested in (including, among others, Firefox and Chrome).
