Very interesting game! I included it in my Adventure Jam 2018 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. https://youtu.be/bOhhr05eefA
Those cutscenes, and the look of the whole game, the surreal backgrounds, the strange, truly alien scenery is all the strongest suit of this game, it is truly an intriguing world. It is unclear where I can move to the next area, and the puzzles can be very confusing, overtly so. However, the story is interesting and I'd love to see more of this visual style. In two weeks, impressive.
Very impressive special effects (especially for a 2 week jam!). Unfortunately the text was cut off on my screen (1920x1080)
I have never played Myst, but I have watched some screenshots, and I can say that this game has that Myst-y atmosphere. But, the first cinematic made me thought in Sanitarium.
Gameplay needs some bug fixes. Sometimes the click doesn't work until you move the cursor out of its hotspot. I couldn't read the only text presented in the game until I moved to another room while it was on the screen. The puzzles are challenging and well designed, but I couldn't do anything in the room that has a sphere inside a cube. I found easier to resolve the puzzles in the desert.
The visual style and the music are great, both give the game a mystery atmosphere. I liked the story and the concept behind it. What you achieved in two weeks of development is impressive. I'll download the soundtrack, it will be helpful for studying or relaxing.

I'm also in the jam, so I'll appreciate if you review my entry Short-term Battery: https://gamejolt.com/games/short-term-battery/340825
A very pretty Myst-like effort, a lot like the more obscure and Lynch-like 90s adventure games!
I ended up stopping at the rotating sphere segments puzzle, after a misclick reset my progress
Kitrinos is a first-person #scifi adventure game set in the world of the Black Cube series (ASA, Catyph, Myha...) and created for Adventure Jam 2018 on Game Jolt. It takes place in a retro geometrical world, that can remind of old movies and polygonal games. We mainly created it in 2 weeks (the development continued during the next few days to fix some bugs and include some missing graphics). The gameplay is frame by frame (in prerendered 3D backgrounds) with 360° panoramic views in HD, and many short cutscenes in animated video. The game was developed with the Clickteam Fusion engine. It is recommended to play it with a pen and paper to take notes and solve the puzzles.
About
His mind absorbed in a Black Cube artefact, archeologist professor Dimarx discovers a strange universe, made of geometric shapes structured like a library, or like computer data. He is guided by a voice in his head, which takes him closer and closer to these structures. It is a voice composed of several entities, as if several people were speaking to him at the same time. This multiple entity claims to be called K'i: the Kitrinos. K'i wants to test the hero to discover the progress of the people of planet Terra, so the player will have to solve several puzzles.
Story
1961. The hero is Professor Dimarx, an archaeologist who thinks he made the discovery of the century on his planet, Terra, on the forbidden continent of Meridia. For posterity, he is followed by his long-time partner and friend, Gramuel Solus, who is in charge of filming this great event. On arriving at the ruins, they discover a chasm with stairs carved into the rock. Here and there, strange black crystals seem to indicate ancient volcanic activity. Dimarx is exalted by his discovery, and descends into the depths of the earth without precautions. He is as if called by an unknown force, and will discover the first Black Cube in the modern history of Terra. His mind is then like "absorbed" inside...
Kitrinos is a kind of psychological journey, from the creators of ASA: A Space Adventure (Simon Mesnard) and '3' (Yazorius).
