KyuIrid is a dating sim based around WLW relationships, though everyone of any gender/sexuality is welcome to play!
What is different about this game is that it isn't based on the different routes that you can play, or the more shallow characters that you can find in other dating sim games. KyuIrid focuses more on the stories of the different characters, making them realistic and relatable people that aren't the carbon-copy stereotypes that are typically written in dating sim games, whether purposely or not. Some characters are based on these stereotypes, but we dive more into what makes "the shy one" the shy one, "the broody one" the broody one, and so on.
This game isn't only just focusing on lesbian relationships, we try to make it diverse in other ways, with three different women you can play as (with no change to the story- just different avatar pictures and slightly altered text).
You play as a college student at a Fine Arts campus, working alongside one of the dateable characters, Chris, in a nearby coffee shop. The player can either be studying Art History, Animation, or Music Theory (again, depending on what character you choose to play as), but don't worry- you'll meet all the characters anyway.
We are currently looking for willing voice actors, but we can't afford to pay anyone- We're a small group of highschoolers who want to tell a story with a bunch of characters (though, we are thinking of making a gofundme, so we can afford to pay everyone involved).
