Sonic the hedgehog inspired? Tell me Im wrong... No this was fun. I'm actually excited for this game to finish. Its well developed and feels professional. I mean with all the ppl behind this project, I can see why. Very good game.
Little hiccups here and there. One is the Dialogue. Maybe its an English thing, but the some words didnt make sense. Like you have 'stealed' when it should be 'stole'. Like, "She stole the Leaf Gem from me." Or after defeating the Blue haired character and the MC mentions the radar, she says, "In First Place" when it should be either 'First of all' or 'First off'.
Again, not a huge problem but something to look into later.
Another thing was the speed up function (or key). It wasn't working for me or Im doing it wrong.. either way I was struggling to get over a few jumps.. luckily the controls were smooth and fluent enough for me to find a work around.
I have one personal nitpick and that's the character sprite and attack.. Very beautiful art style btw.. Love the pixel art here. The MC just feels a bit stiff when fighting (attacking). The first slash is a small attack that only hits if an enemy is directly on top of me when i feel the attack should at least be in front of me. That way I can hit enemies before they actually touch me.. But thats all I have.
4/5 and I WILL be waiting for this game to release.
