This game is actually really pretty fun despite my initial judgement. When I first booted up the game and saw the kind of chaotic (don't know if that was intentional) menu, I jumped to conclusions that the rest was going to reflect. Once I started playing it was semi-confusing, slow.. and hard to find a good weapon. But once I learned the ropes (and looked at the help) I was having fun. There are many performance issues due to particle overkill and blood. The game slowed down considerably after time as well. I also find the Inventory a bit out of place... all you really need is 2 ef each weapon. But I ended up having an inventory full of duplicates. The graphics were a low-side too, I got used to them.. but it could really do with a makeover (sorry, but the stock explosions look like shit)
Other than that the game has quite a few features, GJ integration was good (the trophies don't seem to work for me) and the item keys was a good spin, but it ended up making it a lot easier on the other go-arounds.
Alright game with good potential, 3/5
I wish this game isn't as buggy as it is. The game crashed on me after a few kills. In terms of fun, this game has a lot of potential. There needs to be a better way to select weapons and an indicator on the cursor to show weapon cool downs. Once those things get adjusted this will be a great game!
good game

Before you read the review, know I want to like this game and if I/you can get the issues sorted out I would be happy to try again. NOW, for the review:
First, we will start with the bad. This game is plagued by pretty crippling bugs. It crashed constantly and the guns and other projectile based weapons would not work (if I am doing something wrong let me know). The main mode got old pretty quickly, which may be due to the inability to shoot my rocket launcher, for which I weeped.
Now for the good. Zombie mode was fun for the short time I was able to play it. Constantly being chased, even when in the inventory, was a nice touch and made you feel desperate and pressured. The music was interesting, though it would only play once you started smacking people, which was no big deal because you started smashing skulls pretty quickly.
Overall a good attempt, if the glaring bugs and the weapons were fixed this game would be a pretty fun smash-em-up. For now though I can only give a 2 out of 5.
Wow! this has gotten really awesome, since I last played it! I like how you can start the game out with items, it really made it less slow at the beginning.
