It's was great meeting you guys at dreamhack! Keep up the good work!
I'm new here
This is a very fun and enjoyable platformer. I found the dialouge to be funny and the controls/gameplay to be smooth and well polished. The first level really shows the potenial of what this game can offer as it has good visuals and soundtracks. However, there was one part in the level where I didn't notice the spikes on the floor, which partly is my own fault for not paying attention but it blended into the background making it hard for me notice, I think things like these should be clearer to the player. Besides from that amazing game!
This game is like Battletoads, but way better. Also the skellies in this game are the cutest I have ever seen. THIS GAME IS HOT.
In REZ PLZ, you control two wizard brothers (single or local 2p co-op) to traverse the 5 evil wizard’s keeps of the Dark Arcanum where death and dismemberment isn't just a consequence, it's a part of the adventure! REZPLZ features traditional 2D platforming elements, as well as unique puzzling in the form of coordinated movement and one brother dying in unique ways to allow the other brother to progress. Truth be told, these brothers aren't very good wizards. in fact, in the beginning, they only know one spell, and that's the spell of resurrection. When one dies, the other can resurrect on a safe space them near them.
inspired by old school NES and SNES games, REZ PLZ is not designed to be super easy. There is no health bar, just Lazarus stones used for resurrections. Everything will one hit kill you (often in gloriously awful ways) sometimes it's a means to an end, other times, mistakes were made. You must rely on cunning, skill, and your brother to keep you both from being dead at the same time and going back to your last checkpoint or restarting the level all together (remember when games made you do that?)
