Rule and Ruin
-INTRODUCTION-
Hello and welcome to the page for Rule and Ruin. This is a minimalistic battle simulator with some sleight automation. The whole objective of the game is to stand your ground and destroy your enemies. So far, the game is more minimal than I'd like. So far this game is considered in alpha. There is currently not much to see but with time there will be way more.Â
-THE GAME'S FUTURE-
So far the game is basic, but hopefully, with future updates, you can help me reshape the game into an image we can all appreciate.Â
So far there are no sound effects or music. This is intentional, as I want to add those soon, but not too soon. The game is still in its infancy and I want to handle development as delicately as possible. My last game released was not all I wanted it to be.
I want to make a game that everyone can enjoy while also appealing to my vision for the project. This will be a challenge for me indeed but I am only human.
-ROADMAP-
So far the game has five pawns that the player can select and use. There are only two enemy types as of now. There are also three building types, each having its uses. There is only one tool at the moment, the demolish button.Â
The current release will have bugs and many issues. So with your help, I can iron out a lot of big game-breaking ones and with some suggestions from you I can also make something cool.
The future of the game more or less is to have more pawn types to use and different enemies to face. I also want to add some bosses, sound effects and of course an end game as there is not one at the moment.
The reason I released the alpha in the state that it is now is to get some ground work from you. Just feedback. I want to see what issues people have NOW and what people will want when the game is closer to completion.
