Ok, it's improving a lot, still some issues :
Major problem : no diagonal movement
Minor problem : enemy spawn on screen is instant, they dont drift in from the sides or give warning, they just appear.
Minor problem : between levels some leftover's will remain drifting past the screen, an unlucky player may be hit by a drifter when the control is given. Perhaps grant a 3- second invulnerability to cope with the situation

Otherwise it's looking good, lots of different goobers, I like being able to take a hit and still continue smoking on...

Edit, just realized keeping space down does work as autofire, just the shots are limited.
Also the sound effects are pretty massive, maybe a volume slider would be nice.

It's because you're too l33t! It should be harder to survive while idling now (at least after the first level). Working on that leaderboard, too.

The reason I hated this-
I went to dinner for 30 minutes, came back and I hadnt played for 30 minutes, I hadn't died yet.

Shoot those goobers before they shoot you. Command your ship against creatures with a burning and inexplicable desire to destroy you. Don't get yourself blown up!
