Just played through Classic Edition and didn't find a whole lot different from the Special Edition. The only changes I could really find are some different textures for some backgrounds and platforms. By skipping to the credits to access New Game+, I found it to be different from when you play through the whole game, which landed me on the Special Edition New Game+ menu. I'd suggest looking into that. Can't wait to see what comes next, hope you're well.
While lissioning to some of the music on this page, I have to ask. Do you make your own Music?

The long awaited S.E. update is coming!
Smash Ringtail Cat: Special Edition version 1.1.3 Releases Tomorrow to improve the background graphics and many other bugs! In the next update, there will be a better character switching system, and a WIP Boss Rush mode!
Stay tuned tomorrow at 11:00 AM for the Smash Ringtail Cat: Special Edition version 1.0.0 release and trailer, alongside with an update patch, version 1.1.0 on April 6, 2019! The special edition will be released as a separate package!

April 5th, 2019 - Version 1.0.7 - Fixed Soldier/Sniper enemies
April 6th, 2019 - Version 1.1.0 - New graphics, and invisible blocks on top of the screen.

The special edition of Smash Ringtail Cat's first adventure will be released for free on April 5th, 2019! A new trailer will drop on March 29th, 2019 to coincide the trailer for Smash Ringtail Cat 2.
A brand new Separate Special Edition of Smash Ringtail Cat is planned to be made! It will release Q2/Q3 of 2019!
The final FINAL update patch for Smash Ringtail Cat, version 1.7.2, will be released this Friday December 14, 2018! Stay Tuned!
