Beta 1 [OLD BETA 1]
Made by inexperience, this is the original and first ever version of Sonic.EXE SoH. Released July of 2020, it gives a feel on how much the game really evolved, both on a gameplay scale and also on how I've gotten better at coding in Scratch (sorta).

Beta 1 [NEW GAME]
The newer version of Sonic.EXE SoH. As the first installment of the remastered series, the game heavily improves what the original lacked. Better movement and feel for the game.

SONIC.EXE SON BETA 2 [NEW GAME]
The knuckles package. Likely the last part of this game I'll ever release since I do not see any point in trying to work on this game anymore.
(THIS GAME WAS MADE WHEN I WAS LIKE 13-14, SO THIS GAME OBVIOUSLY KINDA SUCKS LOL)
Legacy Description:
Sonic.EXE: Spirits of Nightmare expands on the original Sonic.EXE Story and will have lots of new things never seen in the original game before. If you are easily scared, then you should not be playing this game, there are lots of jumpscares here.
The game is *not* being worked on anymore. Although I claimed I'd be able to finish it by 2022-2023, it's been 2 years since I ever touched the game and I will likely never finish this game unless by some miracle I find joy in continuing this game.
Sonic.EXE Spirits of Nightmare was created by a 12 year old me in 2020, and released as Beta 1.0 in July of 2020. The name "Spirits of Nightmare" can be traced by a combination of Sonic.EXE "Spirits of Hell" and "Nightmare Beginning". This game, unsuprisingly is heavily based off of Nightmare Beginning, with it having similar features to that said game. However, I don't really know what iteration of Sonic.EXE I was going for in this game, nor do I know what the story of this game even is...
If by misfortune you played any of the original versions, God spare your soul. Although I don't think Beta 1 or 2 of the newer ones are bad, there isn't necessarily enough reason for me to want to actually continue this game other than maybe finishing what I started.
This game is made by Scratch. Obviously, a 12 year old me didn't have a good enough computer to run anything other than Scratch. And Scratch is very limited in what you can do. If you genuinely dislike this game, I understand why. The game isn't really scary, nor does it have anything going for it. It's just another one of those Sonic.EXE games without any plot or story put into it. I assure you that if I were to ever continue building upon this game, I'd probably put more effort into this game.
