Hi, my name is Lucas P. I am, to my knowledge, the third person to be carrying this game.
Let me preface this: No, I did not alter this game in any way. This is just how my friend, Andrew, sent me the ROM.
Andrew went missing last week. He told me to share the game with people. That was the last thing he sent me.
This game was created by Andrew's dad. I think he was just some kind of tester or quality assistant over at SEGA, but he had a passion for making games with their latest equipment. This game, in particular, SONIC RPG, was reportedly his shining achievement. The executives didn't seem to agree, as the game was never greenlit. To rub salt in the wound, the platform he used to create the game, the SEGA Lionware, was canceled.
Some time later, I think Andrew decided to create an emulator for the system. SONIC RPG was the first ROM he tested. It was just a debug room and weird noises when he played it.
It was different for me.
I believe it will be different for you.
