Looks promising, I like the SMS style. (SMS deserves more love, imo)
I never watched the anime, but I'm gonna do that before playing this fangame, to get more familiar with the source material.
How do you download it?

INFO:
Sonic the Hedgehog Moon (or just "Sonic Moon") is, to some extent, my first Sonic fan game and is still in development.
The game is an attempt at a mini-crossover with Sailor Moon, in which characters from that universe can be summoned by Sonic and his friends as helper characters with the use of Chaos Emeralds. It takes on an 8-bit Sega Master System style and is designed to look as authentic to the system as possible (I think).
Story:
Work in Progress.
Gameplay:
Z - Jump
X - Sailor Combo move
Space - Start
Escape - Close game
R - Reset game.
E - Toggle window size.
Team up with the Sailor Guardians!
When you collect a chaos emerald, static monitors turn into "Senshi Monitors," identifiable by an image of a chaos emerald on their screen. Destroying this monitor will allow you to summon a Sailor Guardian depending on the emeralds you have!
The sailor guardians are able to kick enemies and use a special move to hurt enemies, bosses and even destroy Item Monitors. You can also perform a combo attack with them. Depending on the direction you're pressing, you can perform a different move with them which can help you reach high places, hit high speed or rocket downwards!
Playable Characters:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Spin Dash, Drop Dash, Peel Out.
Miles "Tails" Prowler
Spin Dash, Hover.
Knuckles the Echidna
Spin Dash, Glide, Climb.
Mighty the Armadillo
Spin Dash, Hammer Drop, Spike Bounce.
Ray the Flying Squirrel
Spin Dash, Glide.
Modern Sonic the Hedgehog
Spin Dash, Homing Attack, Air Dash, Peel Out.
Luna
Hop Dash, Double-Jump, Auto-claw Attack.
Super forms available when all 7 chaos emeralds have been collected! Hyper forms are planned.
Zones:
R1: Contrast Coast Zone
R2: Legacy Luminance Zone
R3: Ruby Ruins Zone
R4: Mental Mountains Zone
R5: Ample Aqua Zone
R6: Soundwave Star Zone (???)
R7: Final Fever Zone (Not in the demo)
Extra:
I'm not the only one to have made a Sonic X Sailor Moon crossover (unsurprisingly) so here's a shout out to some others that you may be interested in.

The engine was build using some resources from Creative Araya's Open SMS Engine (and I think I got the HUD font from the Sonic MAX Engine). Special credit to PixelMarioXP for the 8-bit Sonic sprites. Some temporary music were used with help from KHinsider.

An announcement of sorts:
Later this month I will be releasing a new demo, with an Android version releasing either alongside the Windows version or close to it. Major credit to @SonicStation , who is currently handling it. Hopefully it goes well.
