What do you think?

I honestly think this game would fit more as a RPG Maker game. I get some Space Funeral vibes from this. Maybe because some sprites look crude?

Hey, I'm on Discord as tooker. Are the sprites I created still being used in the reboot? Also I could still help with sprites for the reboot.

Space Toxin is a 2D Topdown space-themed action-adventure game where you shoot down mutated foes on a space station after experiments go awry.

This game had a different incarnation called Blackhole_Science and was worked on by numerous people, including leader Chris Zflenki. Space Toxin takes the foundation and some ideas from Blackhole_Science and take it up a notch from the original. This game is an official continuation of that one. The first playable in the works acts as an engine test for the full game, and is a remake of sorts from the original levels that Chris and his team made. Therefore, the following description and the playable may vary wildly from the full game.

Space Toxin : Rejuvenated Engine Test -

When a new substance is found on Planet Mars, scientists on a space station research the potential effects on lifeforms, only to find it morphs beings down into a zombified like state. Eventually, contact with other scientists have halted as they've been killed by the creatures. You play as a scientist that heads out of hiding, equipped with nothing but your pellet-shooting suit in attempts of finding anybody left.

As you defeat enemies, you collect the Remains of their body and samples of the substance that started it all. Use these to research into upgrades to power yourself up for a better chance to survive.

Playtime is estimated at around 15-25 minutes for one playthrough, but features a harder second and third quest for replayability. The current state is almost finished, so it should come within the month of October.
