All your keycards are stored in one virtual key chain

Containers can be trapped too. You can evade taking damage with successful EVASION roll or, even better, spot the trap from afar with good PERCEPTION

Do you like mines in your RPG? I like mines. Not the part where you step on one - that's just annoying. But I really like the creative tactical solutions they provide.

In Space Wreck you can place, disarm and recover both mines and what's left of them.

Only one of the options gets you what you need, but all of them have skill-checks. Fail, and it may get you in trouble.

How to make the informed decision? Explore, gather information or use perception check to read NPC's personality profile.

Cambots are common adversaries in Junkspace. Once a popular and cost-effective all-in-one security solution, they now protect company's ruins blissfully unaware of decades passed

Concept of how we would visualize travel between various space wrecks in Junkspace

Dialogues now show requirements for skill checks without exact number but icon instead. And there's also post-check animation to indicate that roll happened under the hood.

But if you don't like that level of immersion breaking, you can turn it off.

You can play as "techie" (a nerd): learn a lot of interesting and valuable information *and* control/fix/[un]lock things by using (and hacking;) computers in Space Wreck

There's a poll/thread on RPGCodex about upcoming RPGs of 2020 and Space Wreck is on it, alongside Wasteland 3, Baldur's Gade 3, Colony ship and other top level entries. Link to the discussion: https://rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/the-list-of-inclin…
