I have always been inspired by games that effectively use multiplayer concepts to create a challenging yet entertaining game. Games such as the original Ace of Spades, or worms, or even Team Fortress 2. It is games such as these which gave me the desire to create Terrain Warfare.
Terrain Warfare has the capacity to handle up to 10 players, each competing with eachother in a LAN game of CTF, while using the terrain to enhance the gaming experience.
Goal:
The goal of any CTF (capture the flag) game is simple. Retrieve the enemies flag, and unite it with the flag belonging to your own team
Game Features:
Terrain Warfare features an advanced terrain manipulation system, which includes both the 'mining' and 'placing' style from games such as Terraria, and the destructability from 'Worms'. This, combined with the fast paced gameplay, multiple classes and procedurally generating terrain gives a fast paced multiplayer CTF experience, where anything you create can and will be destroyed by the other team, and may save your flag in the process
Summary:
Terrain Warfare consists of;
Procedurally generated 'maps' in which to battle
Terrain manipulation in these 'maps'
A working Class system
3 Working Game Modes
Working LAN Multiplayer
