i think this recode is a interesting one so far, but my least favorite part as of now would definitely be the cameras. bit too hard to see and moving them with the mouse...? yeah, a bit weird not gonna lie.
I went through downloading and playing the game, beating 6 nights so far. Here is my current review:
*Pros*
1) The scrolling is a big improvement from the original, especially with how it goes the speed of your mouse.
2) I like that you can change the main menu's music, and the new game/continue/night 6/custom night/instructions are all organized on the left side of the screen.
3) The game is more challenging now that the power has been reworked with open doors. This makes the night passings feel more rewarding and something you need with effort.
4) I like that Laa-Laa, P. Po, The Original, and Dipsy must look at the cameras to understand their current positions, which makes the tablet important. The original game was too easy with the door B strategy because it negated the need for the hallway camera.
5) I like that clicking on the badges replays the cutscenes for at least night 5/6 (I haven't beaten 8/20 mode yet).
6) The Night X is interesting, the silence helps give it an eerie feel, but I don't know the mechanics yet.
*Cons*
1) The cameras having the new scrolling has felt like a downgrade, and I even felt a little nauseated after playing the game. The average player is also used to an auto camera scroll, memorizing the character locations, and adjusting their eyes when the camera is at the left or right. My suggestion (option a) is to either change the camera movement to auto-left or right scrolling, *option b* keep free camera movement by locking it to left or right movement only, *or* have a setting that keeps all 3, but that might be a lot of effort for something such as camera movement.
2) The menu's static becomes an annoyance if you want to play around with the menu and get used to the scrolling.
3) Where did ma boi PTLD go? Was his minigame changed to be from the bottom right corner to becoming a Night X reward?
4) This doesn't matter much, but I recommend having a label for the game over-screen about pressing a key to continue, such as the help wanted magazine.
*Overall*
This recode has improved many problems with the original game, such as scrolling, and lack of challenge. This recode is worth the time, and stays faithful enough to FNATL 3, but reworks a few issues the original game had. However, the camera scrolling is rather problematic. I give a 9/10.
This is a recode of Five Nights at Tubbyland 3: The Endgame, featuring:
>Newly recoded code built from the original MFA
>Much needed optimizations
>Enemy changes and adjustments
>A change to how the power system works
>Stuff new to the recode
