UnBOOlievable is a 3D mobile puzzle game where you use turn-based grid movement to collect candy and avoid monsters. Can you steal all their candy and escape?

unBOOlievable was created by the SneakSumSnacc team while going through the Game Design program at Michigan State University. Now Available on the Google Play Store!

about.png

Play as a mummy child who has been grounded on the most important day of the year, Halloween. You technically can’t go trick or treating, but your parents can't chastize you if they don't know! Sneak around your neighborhood and steal all the candy, but don’t get caught or its game over!

features.png
  • Mobile Accessibility: This game was developed initially for a mobile experience. We optimized the game so anybody could pick up their device and play at any time. Our first builds are being tuned for android phones and tablets.

  • Varying Puzzle Difficulty: Our puzzles ease the player in before amping up the difficulty after each level. Players will also need to adapt to new enemies and terrain as they progress through the game.

  • Cartoon-Stylized Art Style: The art team has worked hard to create a cohesive, cartoon monster world that projects a fun-spooky vibe to the players. Get lost in the world that our artists have created for you.

  • Explore Different Worlds: New environments, new enemies, new costumes?!? Continue through the puzzles to find what awaits you on your path.

unBOOlievable intends to meet the basic Game Accessibility Guidelines (GAG). We are creating a mindful approach towards the usability and experience of our game, and the use of these guidelines ensure we implement our mechanics in an efficient and reliable way.

Our mechanics will be re-evaluated during Alpha and Beta production to see how our mechanics follow the intermediate guidelines, but for now, we are working to ensure basic blockers will be accounted for.

We will be using Michigan State University’s Accessibility Severity Scale to help define and prioritize the implementation.

Accessibility Features

  • Separate toggles for Music & Sound Effects

  • In-game guidance and tutorials

  • UI & Text to background contrast

  • Save Manager for settings, level progression

If you feel that these standards are not up to date or have critiques on how to better implement these features, please feel free to reach out to our Accessibility Coordinator.
