Vampire Dystopia, as the name suggests takes place in a world that has been over run with vampires. You survive the barren wastelands by day, searching for supplies and fight to survive at night.
Making this game for #horrorjam2020 it's a 2d side scrolling horror shooter, I've been planning to make this game and this jame was the perfect opportunity. It's a 2 player hotseat game. Inspiration from Dangerous Dave 2 and Left4Dead.
As the game progressed it became more of a spiritual successor of Dangerous Dave 2 but instead of the platformer element there is a survival element.

Hey I got a playable beta test version up, I still have a lot of animation and effects to do and a lot more work on the player Ai, but it's testable!

I have switched to early access and have a demo available, altho it's not ready to play single player. I still need to do player 2 Ai and some more animation and little fixes to make it more playable.
So a great artist and friend pointed out all the ways my title page sucks and helped to redesign it. I'm quite happy with the results :)

Hey after taking a bit of a break I'm back! I was having a lot of trouble with frame animation and bone animation, so I switched to using a hybrid system! Things are finally back on track and I should be finished the player animation soon!

Still a lot more work to go. The day/night cycle and music are the newest features. I'm redoing the character and going to add in flashlights. This is going to be a 2 player couch co op on PC.
I've been creating animations for my characters, I have walk cycle done for one character.. lots of animations to make :S
I also need to make an interior for my cabin, Then the art will be mostly finished!
