the fnf oc mod nobody asked for
has 4 (5) songs and multiple bonus covers
this is mainly a passion project i've chipped away at for a while that's somehow stayed alive despite falling out with friends who helped on it. i made this completely for fun and out of love for fnf as a game and medium, and was mainly inspired by all the other great mods made for the game. i also mainly wanted to release it finally since there's been a huge weight on me as long as dev has lasted (and i'm too stubborn to pull the plug on things i start usually) and the current build has more or less just been sitting on my hard drive for a good bit now
it's more or less completely finished, winnie's sprites are in the midst of being remade however (and all other sprites for winnie are, for all intents and purposes, placeholders) and the mod will get updated whenever said sprites are completed
i hope you enjoy the mod
(playing without ghost tapping enabled is for the most part untested and not supported, play without it at your own risk. if i ever find a way to detect what the setting is set to i may make it so ice notes are disabled without ghost tapping.)
---KNOWN ISSUES---
heya, zeuvia here to list off things that are known and most likely won't get fixed by me since my coding skills are not fantastic.
- for reasons i am COMPLETELY unsure of, sometimes when starting a song events will not initialize properly. the giveaway for when this happens is if both the player and opponent have the same note skin, but can easily be amended by restarting the song.
- the custom pause screen will visually bug out if you mash pause. this is an issue with the original script that i have zero idea how to fix even remotely.
- at certain points in some songs the game may stutter, the mod is not optimized and i honestly don't care enough TO optimize it with how long development has taken (i've been chipping away at code and the like for over a damn year mostly all by myself.)
- due to limited resources and knowledge, this mod WILL NOT WORK on Psych Engine 0.7 or newer. if someone wants to port it over be my guest, but i'm not going through that headache on my own.
that should be everything, aside from lack of optimization there's nothing game breaking that can't be easily mitigated.
