In short, I thought FNAF 2 the movie was good, but not that great. It has its flaws, like unnecessary plotlines such as Abby's storyline at the science fair and, partially, Vanessa's storyline and her nightmares about her father. Not entirely, because I actually thought it was cool that they showed how Vanessa is dealing with William's death and not wanting to be a murderer like him and her brother Michael, but for that, they would have had to increase the film's length so that this plot could develop better (which wasn't the case). So it felt too rushed for Charlotte's storyline to happen.
In fact, for me, the film could have been just about Charlotte as the villain, wanting revenge and having that thirst that the animatronics from the first film also had. So technically she's within her rights, but you know how it is, she ends up doing this to innocent people who have nothing to do with it, but those of us who know FNAF know that.
Now, about Abby and that whole plot with her old friends, the animatronics from the first movie, I don't want that again in a future film, a third film. I want it to be totally focused on William Afton's return as Springtrap and stop repeating the same story from the previous ones. Aside from that, the rest is okay, the references like Shadow Bonnie appearing for less than a second, but this movie still has its flaws, some of them carried over from the previous film.
