After all this time I’ve finally managed to pull myself together and release 0.2! It’s not a huge update, but it’s not just a tiny patch either.
The biggest change is implementation of marketing and a complete rewrite of the sale algorithm - it’s now harder, but more fair. Most of the other stuff was just visual updates, such as larger time control icons and animations. You can find the full changelog here.
It’s a link to a Hardware Tycoon wiki article! Yes, I’ve made a wikia page for the game, you guys wanted it so here it is!
I’ve also uploaded stand-alone versions for all systems, so you don’t have to play in the browser anymore.
You also wanted frequent devlogs and a pay what you want sale model, so this has changed now too. Pay what you want means that the game is still 100% free, but you can optionally donate. I’m waiting for GameJolt to approve my Marketplace account.
Thank you everyone for participarting in the survey and for following the game so far! Enjoy!
PS I’m going on short holiday, so I won’t be able to work on the game for ~5 days, but after I come back I want to add some little things and release 0.2.1
