0.8.1 Update: Adventure mode WIP, optimization


I forgot to tell you when updating to 0.8.0, but there will be no broke points gift for the 8 as I accidentally gave the double for the 7th version.

Additions / Changes:

  • Added personalized flavor text to personalized characters

  • New boss for adventure mode, the mode now has 4 bosses

  • Added the ability to go back to earlier bosses in Adventure mode. It was much too frustrating to be unable to test out all items. Now one can go back to defeat bosses and get points for items

  • Lightened the character editor layout that was ridiculously as heavy as the rest of the game combined (in RAM usage, 1.5gb while most layouts were less than 100mb, the biggest reaching 250mb), simply did so by cutting down the number of images in the animation by 3, and by doubling the speed so it won’t be a visible loss in quality

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
