Okay so I have been feverishly working almost the entire two weeks, updating pretty much all the coding to make it easier for me to add and change things, along with it being more stable and clean! It's simply now almost to the point of drag-and-drop, so hopefully I'll be able to add more content in each update from now on.
So that happened, along with a new world. I have added a couple new 'essentials' things, such as options for screen brightness and mouse sensitivity. Interact with the journal in the main room to pull up the options menu, where you can change those and save whenever you get an effect.
Last thing, I've added a new collectable system! It's pretty self-explanatory, but if you interact with a certain object and it's siblings spread across the dream worlds, you get score that you can keep track of in the options menu!
One more note, I'm not sure if the saving worked in the previous version, but even though this is a short game I feel like I should point out the things you can save in this version, which include:
The brightness and mouse options,
The effects that you collect, and
The score that you get from collectables.
