1.1.3 - I kann speeck Angleesh i sweer (Typo fixing update) + Incoming 1.2.0 Localization update


Oh hey, it's been a month since the latest patch
Did you think the game was finally on its last update?

Well nope. Actually, its last update might be 1.2.0 instead, which will implement an easier way to translate the game after a few people have reached out to me to translate it and we realized it's not as easy as it is with GameMaker based game

With that, in a best case scenario, a Russian, Turkish and possibly French translation should come alongside the update. If not, then it'll be on 1.2.1

I don't expect the game to be translated in every language available but hey, it's pretty neat to have a "Language" option in your game, isn't it?

Anyway, back to the update of today:


This patch fixes MANY things everywhere, the TL;DR is as followed:

  • Fixed as many typos as possible thanks to Zemete and Reaper

  • Fixed the crash that only happens once in the extras

  • Removed the anti-cheat error when trying to access the secret fight without a valid file. For some reason, some players' save would never get "validated" for the fight so that was the only choice

  • Recompiled the game on the latest version of LOVE 11.5 (I think?), which should fix the error "The entry point to the CreateFile2 procedure was not found in the DLL KERNEL32.dll"

  • Fix the automatic save file created at the end of the Spamton NEO fight if none exist beforehand

  • Added the easter egg of all times to the easter egg. try going back after getting what you wanted :)
    (I really recommend turning on "Simplify VFX" in the options before seeking for this if you're prone to seizures)

Those are the biggest new fixes that should interest the most, now for basically everything else:

General/Menu

  • The keybinds related to debug features are properly locked away

  • Added fallback for when the extras' preview image gets loaded. If anything else goes wrong with it, you shouldn't get a complete crash anymore

  • Fix a bug that can't even be encountered in the game? Actually, it's a fix for another game???

  • Looped Snowgrave and SnowGrave NEO correctly. They won't just fade out before restarting now!

  • The file loaded for the secret fight won't show the room name anymore

Normal Fight

  • Added the statues in Noelle's room. Have you ever noticed they were missing since the beginning?
    Maybe ICE-E's presence in the background will make the fight more disturbing... Or more silly

  • Fix the borders not appearing when the quick intro plays

  • Fix some issues when Susie moves towards Noelle in the intro

  • Fix Noelle's TP going above 100%, preventing Tension Absorb from saving you if you're unlucky enough

  • In the Snowgrave Game Over, the soul breaking now looks like Kris's, not Susie's. Yep, that was a bug, not a feature

  • Skipping the light world section in the Snowgrave ending now throws you straight into a Game Over

  • Fixed some issues with the cutscene where Susie becomes aware of your presence, like layering issues and the black cover not fully disappearing if you skip through the text

  • The egg hint doesn't appear in the wrong ending anymore

  • The egg hint doesn't appear once you can't access the egg room anymore

Bonus Fight (Spamton NEO)

  • Turns out the quick intro of Spamton NEO's battle was broken... So I think I fixed it?

  • Fixed Enraged Spamton's head going back to white after certain attacks

  • Prevent the "body parts" of Spamton's heart from spawning even if its head is destroyed before they spawn

  • I will not add the F1 feature to this fight. The in-universe reason being that Kris already used it before Susie and Noelle's arrival

Secret Fight (Awaken/Frozen Heart/Whatever you call her Noelle)

  • Fixed the borders. It shouldn't keep Queen's Mansion's ones for the entire fight anymore

  • If you use a gamepad, the inputs to dodge the Dark Star attack will revert back to Confirm/Cancel/Menu so they can, y'know... actually use their controller without rebinding anything (Untested, I don't have a controller at home to test that)

  • In the final attack, prevent the Iceshock from spawning too close to, if not straight up on, the soul

  • Fixed the transparent snowflakes hurting the player in the "snowReject" attack during the last phase


Alongside all of this, the OST will soon be available on Soundcloud, some people have asked me if they could reupload the songs there (and some have already done it) and well, since I already have a Soundcloud account, might as well be the evil one that reupload all the songs on another platform nyah ah ah... >:)
