This will be the final patch/update to the game, and only fixes the game crashing when an Anuboo fires a laser.
To keep your save data after updating, just transfer the Save folder from your current version to the new version.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
