1, 2, Test ?
Can anyone hear me ?

Is this working ?

Hi everyone!

This is my first devlog post. Apparently i should tell about my game and how it's going so here i am!

2017

The idea of creating this game and its story came out in 2017. Many game inspired me to make my own. If you're a fan of UNDERTALE and the Mario & Luigi RPGs series then this project is for you!

I left over this project because of my studies and lack of time back then but i remade this project from scratch last year.

What about now ?

The story's got a pretty solid base, i've got help from my pal Axelity (Axel for short). It keeps the same idea from the beggining but revamps it a little.

The game will be separated in different "Act." These will change according to what run you're into.

The game.

The game is designed to run on PC. That means it will mess with your window sometimes. Shake it, resize it, close it. You cannot move it yourself, it will always center itself on your screen but you can change it in the settings.

The window will adapt based on the playtype. But...

what is a playtype?

The game has two different playtype:

TopDown: This is the level selection, you can move freely and the map has platformer too. You can also meet NPCs and shopkeepers. Basically, this serves as some kind of an overworld.

Side-Scroller: This is the actual level. Each level has multiple mission you can unlock. The first mission unlock when you complete another level, the other missions unlock when you talk to certain NPC in the overworld, like a side-quest. These levels are where most of the action occurs, where you fight enemies with your elemental powers.

What's the plan ?

I would try to release a 5 minutes demo this years. I'm confident about a full playble demo release at the end of this year but i'm still unsure about the date.

I will keep you updated.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...
