Hello and welcome to another Dss Devlog! It’s been 1 month since development started and so far it was an interesting first month. Majority of it was spent procrastinating planning out ideas, working on the prototype and drawing out game tiles. Also thank you to the guys who have been following the game, I know I don’t have a lot to show right now, but thanks for following it still. Below is a small chart on the current state of development.
Note it’s the ideas/art not the actual game itself.
Dayshift Simulator state
Art: 30%
I still have to draw the some furniture, characters, etc. Plus there’s the chance I go back and improve the artstyle
Gameplay: 80%
I have some nice ideas for gameplay, but I do plan to add more to keep the game interesting.
Endings: 50%
Main endings are done, now it’s just the random ones left to think about.
Another thing to note is that this is very inaccurate and it’s just how I feel what the current state of development is at right now also I just like making charts so it’s possible things will change as the game develops. In short, I am mostly done with the planning and now I just have to finish up the tiles. Once I finish the art I’ll show you guys the result and if I have time I might even make a rough short clip on the game. I actually wanted to show some very rough gameplay now, but I still got a lot to do so sorry about that you guys. Hopefully by next month I’ll have something good to show. Anyway that’s all I got, expect some random devlogs or teaser pictures for now. See you guys later!
