I started working on this game 10 months ago. Thanks for the support from friends, family, fans, and random people on GameJolt like you guys. This has been a fantastic journey from just a blank canvas to nearly the beta testing stage for this game. In 2 months, the game will officially 1 year of development. Here is my future plans of this game. Before I do though. I will tell you throughout these 10 months what I have done so far.
10 months ago, I created this project in unity and created a GameJolt page for this game and set the settings to private so no-one could see it. In the first 3 months. I started making the base of the introduction screens (Main Menu, Options Menu, Warning Screen, Functional Menus). Second thing, I started working on finding assets, models, sound effects, software, lore, base systems, management applications, and more. The other 5 months was Level Design Art, Improvements on the lore, Base focus on graphics, reviewing sound effects and source code. The last two months was working on the main game itself like coding interaction systems, making levels, building my development team, getting beta testers, and creating future plans.
Now what is coming in the future. Well the future plans right now are is to start beta testing when 3 levels are complete. Once beta testing is over and half the game is done. Release the demo to the public (Public Beta Test aka PBT Demo). Once I finalize the game and finalize the graphics to make it look good. I will release it on itch.io, GameJolt, and Steam. Price is not known right now. After the game is released, I will update the game to add new features, bug fixes, add-ons, and VR SUPPORT! VR Support will take a little while after release since I am new to Game Development.
After game development, I will move on to my other game called, Beyond The Simulation. A Shooter Game made on Unity as well. It will have cool mechanics like Sliding, Grapple Hook, Boosting, and more. That game development is on hold until I am finished with this games development. We still got a long way to go but I cannot wait until this game is officially done and see how the final product is.
THANKS FOR READING! <3
