Both my online high school and university have always taught this. There’s a way to provide constructive criticism in a polite and effective manner. My university calls it a compliment sandwich.
Compliment Sandwich Method:
Say something positive, something that needs improvement, and then something else positive.
Insults don’t equal criticism. Being clear, communicative, and kind is always helpful to others.
