Yesterday, Schwarzerblitz overcame the 100 followers threshold!
After two months since its publication, the alpha was played more than 2k times and I received lots of comments and positive feedback.
Thank you all guys, this project is really important for me and this is the kind of stuff which makes a one-man team like me going on ;)
Do you have any nice idea on which contest/giveaway could I organize for celebrating the event? Tell me your ideas here!

Aside from that…
I’ve started working on a tutorial mode, a feature which was requested some time ago. I’ve got some idea and started programming it, finally!
I’ve unleashed some crazyness regarding new costumes and stages. At the moment, there are 4 additional stages which were not released in the alpha version; also, costumes can now have separate names (a nice idea to implement clone characters without using one character slot). Speaking of which, now there are 10 fully playable characters + 3 with moveset in-building!
I’m tweaking the programming to make the customization more flexible. Adding custom content to the game still requires Blender, but with the next release I will also attach a minimal starting kit to build costumes and characters (not a program, but a series of files with instructions) :D
Jumping attacks are finally working as they should - so be prepared because they will add another layer of strategy which was not there before! Also, all the movesets are being tweaked.
Sadly, I had to give up on animated textures and normal maps, for the moment. I have some issue with some components of my engine and I don’t seem to make them work as they should.
