Howdy folks!
Don’t Forget has recently reached 11,000 Gaster followers! Thank you all so much for your interest in this project, we appreciate your support and we wouldn’t be making this game without you! It means a lot to all of us that you like what we’re doing, and we’re happy to be doing it.
To celebrate the occassion, we’ve got a few things that we’d like to show you. Please note that everything is still a work-in-progress, though! With that in mind, let’s take a look!
In the previous devlog, it was confirmed that Frisk would no longer be the main character of DF. As such, you may be wondering who the new character is. Well, allow me to introduce you to DF’s new protagonist: Harlow.

…They kinda give off a creepy vibe, huh?
While I can’t tell you much about them at this moment in time, I will say that they have a much closer relationship with Doctor Gaster than Frisk did. While Frisk only knew as much about the Doctor as we did, Harlow has a direct connection with him, so I hope you’re all excited to see how everything plays out! You’ll be able to begin playing as Harlow when Chapter 1 of DF releases in the coming months, so stay tuned!
Now that you’ve seen the new protagonist, I’d like to show you a sneak peek of the updated surface world! After playing Deltarune, I decided that I wanted to make the surface in DF feel more like a real place, since in the current demo it just feels like a bunch of randomly-placed buildings linked together by some plain paths, and I thought it’d be more interesting to explore a little town that actually felt alive, so that’s what I’ve been working on. Please have a look at these screenshots and let me know what you think:

Now that I’m reworking the town, I’d like to be able to add some more NPCs to interact with and unique locations to explore, rather than the current few fetch-quest NPCs and samey areas. I’ll probably write up another devlog next month to let you all know how things are going, so look out for that!
Anyway, that’s all we’ll be showing for now! This game has been stuck in my head ever since Deltarune came out a week ago, so I need to get back to working on it while I’ve still got determination flowing. Once again, thank you all for your support, and we’ll speak again soon!
