2,000 Commits as of Yesterday!

Yesterday we reached a very respectable milestone: the 2,000th commit was pushed to the GitHub repository of Floating Sandbox!

For the non-developers among you, this means that in the 2.5 years since we started working on Floating Sandbox, we have made 2,000 additions or improvements to Floating Sandbox code. Quite a milestone indeed.

Incidentally, today also marks our 2-year anniversary on GameJolt - when we decided, after the first 6 months of tinkering with Floating Sandbox, to put the game up for other shipmates worldwide to enjoy ship-making and ship-destroying.

Celebrate with us these two important anniversaries!!!

P.S.: we hear what you're asking now - we have just complete the codework to enable multi-threaded rendering, and we're now in the process of making some code changes to make it easier to port Floating Sandbox to a couple of different architectures and platforms. We'll stay mum on these developments, more on them later! After that, we'll get started with the "frontier" work. Stay tuned!
