What's this update?
The 2.5.0 update is a SMALL update.
What are the changes?
So if you played the game, you should know that one part where sonic's chained. Well, the sprite wasn't that good eh? So it got changed and it's WAY better. There's also one easter egg in Dusty Zone (that one desert level). You pretty much have to avoid tails' trap that makes you fall.
