2025 retrospect, moving forward to 2026!

Setting up for something greater...

Hello, everyone! I hope your holiday is going well. It's time for the yearly blog yet again!

2025 has been a pretty chill year for me, overall. There have been some ups and downs, but for this year's blog, I will be talking about one major highlight:

Sonic J has finally, FINALLY received a new update after over 3 YEARS!!!

The initial goal was to release both the Online Physics Demo and the Final Demo around the same year. Unfortunately, there have been some shortcomings that prevented the latter from being finished in time. However, reviving the game by releasing just the Online Physics Demo has proven to be a promising start.

The numbers cranked up pretty quickly. As of writing this post, the Online Physics Demo has seen a total of 1,980 submitted scores, and a total of 877 trophies have been achieved! And that's not all... over 1,000 scores were already submitted within a week after release!!! And those numbers will keep growing!!!

The Online Physics Demo has performed way better than I expected, and I'm glad that so many of you guys took the time to submit your scores. As this demo's success has proven that Sonic J is still enjoyed by many of you, I'm now more determined to make the Final Demo the biggest update the game has ever received. Get ready for 2026, folks, because 2025 was just the precursor for what's about to come!

Thank you for reading my yearly blog. I wish you all a happy New Year, and let's do our best for 2026, alright? 👍

May this year be better than the last!

Let's make another try, shall we?

Well this is something

Can you keep up with my fast aim?

Hey, can someone on @gamejolt explain this? I want to view scores on my game, but for some reason it's capped at 25 in the API settings page

And then if I go to the main game page, it's capped at 50, even though there's even more scores...

Be sure to be on the lookout for Sonic J's Online Physics Demo, releasing TOMORROW, November 5th at the Chao Games Showcase 2025!

I just loooove clicking circles
