3.0 update in the works!


So I’ve decided to work on this game again.

Why?

Well, it doesn’t really have any closure, now does it? Also, the difficulty curve is too steep, and there are really a bunch of things I want to add or improve.

Also! Someone’s remaking the game engine this runs on (Sphere) from scratch, and it runs much better and is cross-platform! So there’s an obvious reason for me to take the time to update the game.

What can you expect?

  • More levels - at least twice as many, and with more variety.

  • Level select & progress saving.

  • Local high score tables - based on lives wasted, cupcakes collected and time taken.

  • A story element to make progressing more fun.

  • New music.

  • A proper ending.

  • Cross-platform (Windows, Linux, not sure about Mac OSX yet).

Now, all of this will be introduced in *progressive updates*, not all at once. In any case, I’m back to working on the game!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
