Yo! 4 Years!

Honestly, quite a while.

I feel like I've been stupid this entire time now that I have hindsight.

While I rarely visit this site, I plan on coming back soon-ish once I have the resources to make a game. (Finding things that don't need coding knowledge on Linux is tough!)

I'm no artist and have no intention on returning to Ren'Py in the near future unless my only job on that project is to code the game in Ren'Py, so I'll probably mess around with RPG In A Box once I decide to fork over the cash.

But considering that I've been trying to find a part-time job for a damn while so I can buy a switch and the 8 games I really care about (Luigi's Mansion 3, Pikmin 4, Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Mario Wonder, Metroid Dread, Detective Pikachu Returns, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and MK8D), it'll take a long while before I'm willing to spend money on RPGIAB. Especially since I still don't have Slime Rancher 2, ctrl alt ego, Shovel Knight, Bits and Bops, Va-11 hall-a, Rain World, Lethal league and a lot of other games in my steam library.

Agh! Money really is inevitable! Just like taxes!

Why couldn't Disco Elysium sell me on communism so I wouldn't have to deal with this?

Anyway, I still have a long journey in life ahead of me. I still don't have proof that death is inevitable like money and taxes, since there are around 8 billion people alive.

And like Scott from Scott the Woz said, "I'm gonna be god... I woke up yesterday and realized God can't die. And I've never died before."

Farewell, see you next year so I can finally say I have a game project in the works.

For those of you interested in what I do outside of games, I finished reading Berserk after the 3-year post and read Vagabond. Not too much impact on my life outside of that.

Started reading some Junji Ito, finally started watching a bit of anime here and there, and also the anime to some manga I love came out/were announced (Onimai, Oshi no Ko, 100 girlfriends, dangers of my heart, chainsaw man, call of the night, and a few others).

My top 5 manga for the few who care are:

1. Berserk+Vagabond | They're both really good action manga and I can't choose which is better.

2. Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka? + YuruCamp | Really sweet and wholesome manga just about girls doing stuff. Whenever there's a new chapter of either one it always makes my day.

3. Spy x Family + MahoYome | Two really good manga with Action and Slice of Life elements, able to keep you entertained with both really great action scenes and damn great moments of characters living their everyday lives.

4. Gakkougurashi + Made in Abyss | Both are wolves in sheep's clothing. They're drawn so darn cute but are really damn dark on the inside. They're both really good.

5. The Duke of Death and his Black Maid | Finally one I don't have to place with another because of how good they both are! This thing is just a perfect blend of everything! Great action, great story, great slice of life, great comedy, great world, great characters, it's a damn good read. I was so sad when it finally ended, but the author took their time to make the best ending possible.

I know this list is BS with the double placements, but I swear they're all good enough to be worth it lol.

I haven't been watching a lot of anime recently, but I have finished and started watching and continuing a few:

Finished Panty and Stocking! Really weird ending, but whatever!

Continued Urusei Yatsura! Why did I stop watching it? It's so damn good!

Started Flip Flappers! It's really cute!

Anyway that's actually it.

Play Disco Elysium, listen to MEMODEMO's songs, and I started collecting Skylanders again.
