4x0ng updated to version 0.6

EDIT: Gravity is now fixed in 0.6. You may wish to re-download the game.

I’m pleased to announce the fifth development release of my work-in-progress particle panic arcade action game, “4x0ng”.

The new version includes the following improvements, based on user feedback and playtesting.

  • Improved, smoother difficulty progression through nine levels of madness

  • Easier-to-read danger level indicators

  • Some levels have GRAVITY, which pulls you toward the Core.

  • Some levels have PLASMA; touching the Core on these levels is deadly!

  • Some levels have both PLASMA and GRAVITY!

  • Plasma cloud graphics updated

  • Monitor enemy is larger and faster

I hope you enjoy version 0.5! Please let me know if you enjoy the game, or if you encounter problems or wish to give feedback.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
