Half of A THOUSAND. THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND.

I've really come far eh, feels like it was just yesterday when I was celebrating 100 followers as F1OW3Y.

Thought I'd take a nostalgia trip and return to my roots for a while, I will also tell my story about my experience here on gamejolt.

It all started on December 13th 2020, 5 days before my birthday. I had found out about this site, how hundreds of people could share their creations and video games, a place where I could meet people which shared all the interests I did, which was something I rarely had encountered. I joined mainly to play UT fangames and such, but eventually decided to release my first video game! My Omega Flowey Fight! It was by far my biggest project on scratch, and had up to 400 views on scratch. A few days after I uploaded it, I got a comment that would change everything...

It was a comment from my now best friend: @TheSoullessArtist, however, back then he was known as @TheDabbingProfessional. I made a poll asking if I should make a chara fight next, and he said "wow! my friends and I are doing the same thing!" I replied saying awesome! maybe we could collab? He agreed, and everything changed... We began work on my other fangame: Fragmented Soul: Determination. Along the way, we became really good friends, and had some really nice times together, I convinced a friend of mine from scratch to join gamejolt, and she even ended up helping out with FSD! Her account is @Cardey_the_flower , and I would really appreciate it if you gave her a follow, she has helped me tremendously.

I began to socialize on gamejolt a lot more, and met some of soulless's friends, including @normalfockso , @AnneRealNoFake among others. They were the first group of friends I had on this site, and once again, please follow them. Things were going smooth, and eventually, I met @taken_by_the_void, otherwise known as Dominikowski. He was a spriter I looked up to, and I still do today, but one day, he asked around if anyone could animate an underfell papyrus sprite for him. I had little knowledge on how to animate in scratch, but I knew some things, so I volunteered, and he loved it! I made a name for myself by animating sprites for people, and became known as that one silly animator flower. I have a studio on scratch full of my animations if you'd like to check them out: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/29243455/ Unfortunately, Soulless left gamejolt for personal reasons. I then met people such as the great @Dyevo_ and @KrisMakingUT. Both of which were awesome artists. This is where my memory becomes blurry, but what I do remember, is the rise of Jude.

I became slightly jealous of people such as Dyevo and dominikowski, and wanted to make sprites like they could, I felt sort of useless because I couldn't make art like them, so I decided to use my envy to become a spriter too. I was instantly hooked. My first three sprites were a F1OW3Y sprite, a Dyevo sprite, and a Jude sprite. This marked the rise of my most prominent OC: Jude. Made to look similar to irl me. I kept spriting, and improving, meeting all sorts of fellow spriters such as my great friend @Xyne .

Around this time, I hit 200 followers, and made this banner to celebrate, now it is a long forgotten art piece that only the true followers will remember

I skyrocketed in popularity around this time, meeting people such as @placidbatonFinal, @ed_ , @baby_sweetheartnene, @AidenSucksAtLife , and others. Once more, follow them NOW.

Once again, my memory gets blurry here, but I kept spriting, and socializing. Meeting many more people along the way, had some bad times, and some great times. I'm pretty sure I started my long running fellswap sprite series around this time, but I'm not entirely sure.

Anyway, the gist is that I have had one hell of a ride here, and I've enjoyed it. I've seen people leave, arrive, and some stay.

@baby_sweetheartnene: One of, if not THE kindest person I have ever met, an absolute pleasure to chat with, extremely wholesome, I am really glad I met you. Love you so fucking much.

@AidenSucksAtLife : Really chill, kind, and loyal. I'm really glad I met you, and that we're close friends.
