Warehouse in the Night is now released!
Today is a long time coming, but I’m glad it’s here.
Check out the description for the estimated minimum system requirements.
Since the game is too large to directly upload to Gamejolt, I’ve uploaded an installation EXE. Once opened, there will be a set of instructions and clickable text that will link to the Google Drive folder where this game is stored. Download the zipped folder and extract the files.
If you’re wondering why the game is so large, it is because I tried to simulate a pseudo-free roam environment in the Clickteam Engine via rendered animations and images. The presence of the visible antagonist in the game multiplied the required amount of rendered video and images in order to show their presence. I’ve already done what I can to trim any unnecessary data. The large folder size is not necessarily a case of un-optimization, but rather a consequence of what I’m trying to do in the Clickteam engine.
The game is in English and has English subtitles. Since this is my first game, and I’m working alone, I did not think of translating into other languages. I apologize for the inconvenience this makes for those who do not speak English.
The game’s runtime is approximately 90+ minutes if you know what you’re doing and have zero deaths. There ARE checkpoints for the long sections.
If patches are made in the future, I will have to upload a patched version of the game EXE on Gamejolt to replace the core EXE that is embedded in the Google Drive download. However, hopefully I won’t have to do that. I know all too well of the horror stories of disastrous launches. The game isn’t the smoothest, but I hope it’s good enough.
Make sure to read the disclaimers in the Read Me file before booting up.
Thank you for reading!
