I'm writing this on behalf of Juan right now. Normally, we joke around a lot but this is very serious. Since Juan just pretends to play the character of Juan, I'm going to refer to his actual alias in this post, that being Jimmy.

Over the past couple of years, Jimmy's situation at home has slowly progressed from bad, to worse, to horrible. Jimmy's family has issues and takes this out on him physically, emotionally, and mentally by abusing him. This has only intensified through the years, with one incident after another. This reached its boiling point in early of 2025 when he was kicked out of his Mom's house.

For 3 days, there was a period where he completely homeless, and lost access to a lot of vital information and devices. This is the reason why he has not had an online presence for close to a year now, because the aftermath has been devastating. I know that many people close to him have been concerned as to his disappearance and sadly this is why.

He would have been homeless still if it were not for his Dad and his Dad's friend for taking him in, and providing what little food and shelter they can. Even then, due to the damage he has endured from all of the abuse, it makes it nearly impossible for him to properly function without medical attention. This is obviously not a good state to be in, and he is trying his hardest to change that right now. The majority of his family do not care, and have cut off financial support to him in an attempt to suffocate him. His Dad and his friends are literally the only other support in his life. He has kept afloat by donations from many different people.

This has finally reached a point where he has decided to announce a GoFundMe for his situation. This was passed around to people in private because he didn't want to talk about what's been happening publicly. However, with circumstances deteriorating, he has decided and this is his last resort.

It has been agonizing for him and has broken our hearts to see him shattered before us. We love him, and want him to get the help that he needs. He has been hurting for a long time, and he and we want to change that.

This is his cry out for help; his plea for support. We know there are a lot of people in this community who care about him and would like to help, so if you are interested, the GoFundMe link can be found here:

I'll also mention that I seemed to have some issues with Credit Cards when I was handling the GoFundMe, so just a heads up. Unsure if this is a problem with only me or specific others, but if so please update me, as I am the one running the account and sending over the money to him.

On a lighter note, we want to talk about something more upbeat and less depressing. If you have seen the thumbnail and title of this post, you can tell right off the bat what is going on.

For a period of about 6 months, we have been slowly but steadily working on a genuine remake of TRTF5. This has been handled delicately because this is not the kind of project you tease willy-nilly. TRTF5 has had a known history of development issues and catastrophe. We did not want to announce this immediately because we wanted to keep it private until we had more assets to show, as its still in its early stages. But due to his situation, he decided he wanted to announce it now because despite his difficulties, he wanted to bring lighter news to people.

We have recruited many different veterans from not only the TRTF community, but the entire FNAF community to work on it. In fact, we even have some of the original devs who worked with Tyler back in the day on the original TRTF5. It has been a great joy to develop, but due to issues mentioned earlier on, it has been nearly impossible for Jimmy to work on it regularly. This is also why some of the other anniversary games have issues, because Jimmy was still dealing his family back when he lived in his Mom's house. This is also as to his periods of silence over the years for him to later pick up his online presence again. If you noticed, this is why he did not talk publicly online during the update for TRTF1:AE and TRTF4:AE's development (hence Vapor taking over on post updates).

If people did donate, he said he really did want to finish this game, and has a great track record of doing so as he has released 4 different remakes within the span of a couple of years. Many devs don't have that kind of portfolio backing them, so this should hopefully provide some good evidence as to his seriousness. Obviously, the Fundraiser would not be funding this game, as all the work done for this project is done voluntarily by us. It would greatly help him though because if he can actually get the help that he needs, he can properly function and not only pick up a full time job but also continue doing his passion of game development again.

During the development on this game, TRTF1:AE, Jimmy really did believe he could have died during its development. This is not an exaggeration, as we literally saw him talking about how if he disappeared that he wanted us to finish the game for him. He poured his heart out while making it, because he believed it would be his final swan song. There really was a reality back in 2024 where if things took a turn for the worst:

"I would have been on the streets dead."

With TRTF5, Jimmy wants to make a project fun for not only veterans of the series, but also newcomers as well. To put it blunt, an end to the TRTF5 cancellation curse.

But most importantly, it is to be a love letter to the TRTF community, a game meant to articulate what Tyler's original vision for the project was back in 2015. Although things have changed, since then, we all have the retrospect as time has passed to see what to improve on and how to go about a project like this properly. This would most likely be his final project TRTF wise.

We have a huge amount of work done on the game document which outlines the beginning to end. As as the main writer of it, I can tell you all that it is mind blowing, and people on the team love it. Over our dev calls, people have enjoyed throwing in different ideas, going back forth with another, to cook up something special that this community has never seen before.

We are hoping to share more of it in the future with you all when we have more of the project done. As of right now, this classic teaser should excite you all, and hint at where we are going.

I know this post is most likely very jarring for all of you. Jimmy likes to meme a lot, and has had a history of trolling. This post is in contrast to that for good reason. Everything that we have talked about is the truth, I imagine unexpected at that. Good and bad news alike.

I know many people who will read this post have frustrations and anger with him due to past incidents, but I urge you all to put these things aside. These are trivial in comparison to a man whose life is in danger, who lives on the edge day by day unsure of tomorrow. He doesn't have privilege many of us have in being able to come home a nice warm meal, being able to get a good nights rest, not have to worry about constant physical pain, among other things.

Put your grievances away, they do not matter in comparison to him potentially going homeless again and dying on the streets. Alone, cold, and afraid.

Have sympathy and compassion, and find it in your hearts to imagine what it would be like to be in his shoes.
