The game is no longer going to be a 4th installment to the series, but rather a remaster of the first game. Some parts of the first game are still canon, but more or less this game will have new lore that will retcon the old lore. So if anyone is doing theories. Use this game as your main source of proof.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
