Hey everyone!

I wanted to comment on the final fate of FNaF World. There won’t be an update 3, and there won’t be mobile ports. This game had a good run, and it garnered a surprisingly large following here on GameJolt with almost 4 million downloads. Unfortunately, as mentioned in my Steam post, I made some mistakes very early in this game’s development that are going to make further changes very difficult, and I think that that time and effort would be better spent on new projects.

There has been a huge outpouring of support and love for this game recently, and it’s been really heartwarming. There’s a big hatebase too, no doubt, and maybe rightfully so, but that doesn’t diminish the amount of love that a lot of people have for this game. Requests for Update 3 and mobile ports have been coming in on an almost daily basis, and that’s a real silver lining to what has been a dark cloud for me.

FNaF World will continue to have a home here on GameJolt. It was a project of love for me and something that I enjoyed working on. Thank you to everyone for their support and encouragement. Posting this game here really opened my eyes to what an awesome community GameJolt actually has. :)
