1: Make A Gimmick Level- Sometimes Rob rates basic levels with a 1.0 look- but they have a gimmick or two. The World Machine has a randomizer (made before 2.2, technically impressive) and Starfall has a custom gravity portal (not as impressive, but still enough to make the cut.) Decorating it obviously increases your chances.
2. Mimic The Style Of Other Creators- Popular creators like Yun and Split72 have a very distinct style. Many other levels with a similar style have been rated, so try to imperfectly replicate their style.
3. Make A Joke Level- Rob likes rating specific joke levels. Sure, there may be hate in the comments, but you still have a Creator Point!
4. Don't Make It Too Long- XL levels are time-consuming, rage fuel, and just boring, unless you're a popular creator, so for now keep your levels between Medium and Long length.
5. Logos/Transitions/Credits- Don't make the level transitions too long. Same thing goes with your logo and credits, whether it's your snazzy OC or a simple text-block.
6. Cut Down On Shader Abuse- You may think that the shaders and stuff make your level increase in difficulty, but in reality they make your level decrease in playability and likability. This mod system isn't GDPS 2.2!
7. Too Much/Little Sync- You don't have to make gameplay to eVeRy SiNgLe SoUnD in the song you're using, that just makes it more annoying. But you also don't need really long stretches of dash orbs. That's wasted chance for extra fun gameplay, or maybe even a coin!
Whew, that was long to write. Thanks for reading, and I hope this helped ^^
