Five Nights at Candy’s 3 is getting bigger than I had initially planned, in the sense that the game now will have much more content and depth than the two previous games combined.
I’ve previously refrained from making demos of the games, because the nights were almost the entirety of the games. So back then, if the code for the nights and the AI was finished enough for a demo to be possible, then the games would’ve been finished already.
But this time, the nights themselves are only a relatively small part of the game. And there’s lots of variations that I’m working on. It won’t just be multiple versions of the same AI with a different skin, this time they’ll behave differently (some more than others).
That is why I’m working on a demo, which will consist of one night against Nightmare Monster Rat, with a special rising difficulty akin to the One Night At Flumpty’s games, except of course not as difficult ;)
So it won’t just be “Night 1” on the lowest difficulty, but it should start like a first night, and then escalate from there (but not too much).
The demo will hopefully satisfy you all until the full game can be released.
