A lesson from me, I just started doing this:
Use references. Don’t trace over the reference and leave it at that, deconstruct their anatomy. and then try to copy it without tracing it.
Trust me, if you want your drawings from imagination to look anatomically correct, you have to use references.
If you don’t do that, you won’t improve as fast as you want to.
Yes, a lot of professional artists did this to learn anatomy and gestures.

I'm working on something right now, but that didn't stop me from doing some sketches. I recently listened to my favorite songs...And introduced the AU Sans` as Genres of music.
