What's going on with the development?
1. Day 01 FULLY COMPLETE.
Every texture, every model, every sound, every easter egg. Everything is done there. (and now it will be a lot of easier to make Day 03). I will come back there, only if I wanted to change something (just a little detail.), or fix a bug.
2. GOOD PERFORMANCE (fps and graphics) is finally achieved.
So, I wanted the game to look good, have a good fps, and then optimized for other PC's (that can take time). I FINALLY ACHIEVED IT!! I haven't optimized it though, but at least the game works AMAZING on my PC, I will post some new screenshots here too. The problem was with the models. Well, I am new to gamedev so it is expected for me to do such simple and stupid mistakes. [Just a note here, for other new gamedev's. If you're making a model for your game, ALWAYS make sure that the model you are making doesn't have TOO MUCH polygons! (don't forget about the look of the model too :D ). The more your model has polygons the harder it will be for ANY game-engine to process lighting for your game. I had this problem and I never looked at the models. (I had to replace it for free existing models on the Asset store.) I am not a good teacher though, but I am always willing to learn more and correct my mistakes, so If you think that I've written something wrong here, feel free to tell me what's wrong and I will correct it.]
3. DEMO. What will contain and when will be available?
So, I want the Demo to represent the main gameplay of the game, represent the feel of the game. If I want to achieve that, I need to make Day 01, Day 02, a couple of easy mechanics and two Pixel mini-game levels. Day 01 is completed, and Day 02 will be easier to make (at least I think so, right now.). By "a couple of easy mechanics" I am not joking. These mechanics are VERY easy to implement. The only thing that may be hard at the start is Pixel mini-game. I need to add a certain amount of details there (for the lore), I want it to be well made, well played, and well felt. That CAN take a certain amount of time, but If I'll make LVL1, than It will be a lot easier for me to make LVL2. I don't give up and I hope I will have power to finish the demo.
About the demo's release date. It would be AMAZING if I could finish everything till the end of the summer, but I don't know. I am setting a plan for myself to work more efficiently. I am trying my best to get everything done.
I will make a trailer for the Demo's release and It will also be available on Itch.io too. (I hope that it will get at least some attention).
Thank you for reading this whole text (I hope you did that)!
Have a nice day! :D
