A little extra information, before Chapter 2 releases.


Good news! Chapter 2 is nearing completion. Pretty much everything is done, except for a few overworld sections and neutral run attacks.

The release of Chapter 2 is going to introduce a few new core mechanics:

Character Upgrades

As you collect stars, you unlock upgrades for your character. Things such as Max HP, ATK, and even TP gain will be permanently added to your character.

Mini-Stars

While every chapter will have 3 main endings, some chapters will have multiple sub-endings. Chapter 2, in particular, has 9 different sub-endings. When you collect all the sub-endings / mini-stars for a chapter, you get an additional star added to your star count.

No-hit endings do not count toward mini-stars. Every ending you do a no-hit run in counts as an additional star, turning the star into a dog-star.
